GrantFox offers multiple ways to explore open-source projects, making it easy to find work that matches your interests and skills.

As a contributor, discovering the right project is often the first step toward a meaningful contribution.

Take your time browsing projects - understanding the context of a project will help you make stronger, more impactful contributions.

Discover projects from your contributor dashboard

When you land on the Contributor Home page, scroll down to find a section with featured projects.

These projects are highlighted to help you quickly explore:

• active and well-maintained projects.

• repositories currently looking for contributors.

• projects participating in the ecosystem.

By clicking on a project, you can view its description, linked repositories, open issues, and contribution guidelines.

Discover projects through active Campaigns

Another way to explore projects is through an active Campaign.

Each Campaign brings together multiple projects that are currently open for contributions during a specific time period. When you enter a Campaign page, you’ll see a list of all registered projects participating in that Campaign.

Remember to register to the active campaign.

From there, you can:

• Browse project descriptions.

• Explore synced repositories.

• Review available issues.

• Understand what each project is working on.

This is a great way to navigate the ecosystem during a Campaign and decide which projects you want to contribute to before the deadline.
