Adding maintainers

GrantFox lets you manage your project as a team. You can invite additional maintainers so they can help review contributions, coordinate issues, and keep the project active.

Add a maintainer to your project

To add other maintainers:

1. Open the project you want to manage.

2. Go to the “Maintainers” tab.

3. Use the search bar to find the person you want to add, then select them.

Important: Maintainers must already be registered on GrantFox to appear in search and be added to a project.

Project ownership (Owner)

Each project has a single Owner. By default, the Owner is the maintainer who created the project, but ownership can be transferred to another maintainer at any time.

Having a single Owner helps keep critical actions secure and avoids conflicts in project administration.

Owner-only permissions

Only the project Owner can:

• ➕ Add or remove maintainers

• 🔗 Add repositories to the project

• 🗑️ Delete the project
