Adding repos

Once your project has been created on GrantFox, you can start adding the repositories that belong to it.

Access the repositories tab

To add repositories to your project:

  1. Open the project you want to manage.

  2. Navigate to the “Repositories” tab inside the project.

In this view, you’ll see all the repositories associated with the project that are available through GitHub.

Can’t find your repo? Make sure it isn’t private or hidden on GitHub.

Select the repositories you want to add

From the list, simply select the repositories you want to include in your project. Once added, GrantFox will begin syncing those repositories so their activity can be displayed on the platform.

This allows contributors to explore your project at a repository level and understand where they can contribute.

Important: Register repositories to an active Campaign

Adding repositories to your project is not enough for them to appear in an active Campaign.

If there is an ongoing Campaign, you must also register the repositories to the Campaign:

  • After adding repositories to your project, look for the “Registered” option.

  • From there, register the repository to the active Campaign.

This step is critical. If a repository is not registered to the Campaign:

  • its issues will not appear in the Campaign view

  • contributors will not be able to discover or apply to its issues during the Campaign

Always double-check that your repositories are both added to the project and registered to the active Campaign.
